The pharmacist can aid individuals using lifestyle strategies for coronary risk reduction. Some of the key methods used by pharmacists include counseling on medication benefits versus risks and compliance. Pharmacists can also assist individuals with lifestyle product selection, which includes a wide variety of items, ranging from appropriate use of nutritional supplements to blood pressure machines, pedometers, or weight loss products.
